Weight trend
A smoothed line, changes over 3, 7, 14, 30 and 90 days, and when you'll reach your goal at your current pace.
Hapka AI recognises your meal from a single photo and works out the calories, macros and every ingredient from a real food database. No typing, no guessing.

Most AI trackers ask the model to guess the calories. Hapka AI only lets it name the ingredients — the database does the maths.

Point the camera at your plate. Get all of it in frame, from above, in good light.

The model names the dish and estimates each ingredient's weight. Calories and macros come from USDA and Open Food Facts, not from the model.

Swap an ingredient or change a weight and the totals recalculate instantly. Your day updates on the spot.
Whatever you're eating, there's a fast way to the numbers.
One photo of the plate — the dish and its ingredients are recognised automatically.
Packaged food by exact match. No AI involved — a barcode has a right answer.
Not in the database? Snap the nutrition panel and the values are read straight from it.
“Two eggs, buttered toast and a latte” — and you get the same breakdown a photo gives.

Answer a few questions — height, weight, activity, pace — and get a daily calorie and macro goal. The app tracks your day against it.

Protein, carbs and fat with a clear “left” or “over”.

Fibre, sugar, sodium and the day's average score out of 10.

Steps and calories burned from Apple Health or Health Connect, plus water.
The scale moves every day. The trend shows where you're really heading.

A smoothed line, changes over 3, 7, 14, 30 and 90 days, and when you'll reach your goal at your current pace.

Your number, the WHO scale, and what it does — and doesn't — tell you.

A weekly photo shows what the scale can't. Compare two side by side.
Everything below is in the free app — on iPhone and on Android.
Calories and macros for every ingredient. Swap cheese for feta and the totals recalculate.
Every meal gets a score out of 10 from a fixed rubric, not the model's opinion.
Steps, active energy and workouts count toward your day automatically.
Calories left and macros on your home screen — and on the iPhone Lock Screen.
A gentle nudge for breakfast, lunch, dinner and the weekly photo, at times you choose.
Every day you log extends your streak. Small wins that add up.
Save a favourite meal or add your own food and log it in one tap.
The whole app and the food catalogue, in both languages.
Export everything or delete your account from inside the app, any time.
Shopska, tarator, kebapche, moussaka, lyutenitsa. The app recognises what's actually on your plate, not just “salad”.
Plenty of calorie apps ask for a card by the second screen. Hapka AI doesn't.

One decision shapes the whole app — and it's why the numbers hold up week after week.
Every calorie traces back to a specific USDA or Open Food Facts record, not to whatever the model decided today.
A correction recalculates from the database instead of asking the model again. The change does exactly what you asked.
A past day is measured against the goal you had then. Changing your plan never rewrites what you've seen.

Short answers to the questions we're asked most.
The model recognises the dish and estimates each ingredient's weight; calories and macros are then calculated from public food databases (USDA and Open Food Facts). That keeps the numbers traceable for whatever was recognised. Portion size is the hard part — shoot from above, in good light, with the whole plate in frame, and fix any weight that looks wrong. It's one tap.
Hapka AI is free — no card and no trial. AI scans have a daily limit that resets at midnight; barcodes and manual logging don't. If we ever add a paid plan, everything you've logged stays yours and we'll tell you well in advance.

Yes. Hapka AI is made in Bulgaria: shopska, tarator, banitsa, kebapche, lyutenitsa and plenty of local products. The whole app, including the food catalogue, is in English and Bulgarian.
A barcode has a right answer, so AI isn't involved. The check digit is validated, the product is looked up by exact match, and the label's portions are offered directly. If a product is missing, you can snap its nutrition panel instead.
Yes. Open the meal, swap or remove an ingredient, change a weight or the servings. Totals recalculate from the database rather than by asking the model again.
